Antipolo Zone- Philippines: Week 7-I Survived 24 Hours in a Philippines Hospital😱

 We are back

Things are getting crazy here in Antipolo, the work has taken a sudden blow but we are about to have a flu game MJ performance

Word of the week: mahilo (dizzy / light headed)

Lot happened this past week so here's the updates:

Monday: Last PDay with our zone because this week was transfer week. We did a photoshoot and played basketball again 

Tuesday: This night was the transfer call and there were a ton of changes. Our area got split in two and E. Brainard got put as Elder Leonoras' new companion and DL. And I am TRAINING... yooo.

Wednesday: Had a training meeting for all the trainers, Elder Kefu came over and spent the night at our crib. He's from Australia and the ZL here before I came.

Thursday: TRANSFER DAY! Had to wake up at 6 and go pick up my trainee. But before that I got to see everyone at the transfers, and my old trainee elder Freeman who is now also training!!! Bros HIM proud of him. Then we welcomed in the 14 new trainees. And I met Elder Hall!!! He's my new comp. 

After our meeting we got Elder Hall right to work, and threw him right in. We had him extend a fake baptism invitation to a member and he didn't shy away the member rejected everything we threw at her but he took it well. Threw him right in the fire and he came out UNPHASED

Elder Brainard on the other hand when he found out the person we taught was an undercover member started laughing so hard. And then he said " yo I'm lightheaded" and he slumped in his chair. Then he couldn't feel his legs or hands... He legit was like paralyzed and started freaking out. No one answered the phone. We gave him a blessing and rushed him to the hospital, Elder Hall just picked up Brainard and put him in a tricycle cause there's no ambulance

So we were holding his limp head up while speeding in a trike to the hospital. We got there and got him on the table and he started tweaking like full body seizure or cramp and he was screaming it was crazy. So the doctors gave him drowsy drugs so he could calm down and hooked him to an IV. Apparently his potassium was super low and so his body was shutting down. President eventually came to the hospital and told E. Hall who had 0 sleep the past 30 hours and E. Leo to go home and that I was gonna stay the night w/ Brainard. So they put us in a room, Brainard was kinda recovering. I had a nice small couch to sleep on 

Friday: They woke us up at 3AM ️ and again at 5 to take blood. Worst sleep ever. And then in the morning, they didn't let us leave until like 5 PM. Brainard made a recovery mostly. It was so cooked, we didn't see the sun for a while.

Saturday: finally got to work with my trainee, me and Elder Hall went out and grinded out a ton of teachings. Poor guy has had a crazy couple of days. Extended BGD, Hospital, exchanges first full day. But he's a stud.

Sunday: Sister Marjory got baptized!!! Really just prepared by God, she dropped from 10 cups of coffee a day to 0 so fast. And she and her family have been so consistent in coming to church. She's the GOAT.

Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, ye must watch and pray always lest ye enter into temptation; for Satan desireth to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.

Always have to stay vigilant or else we can slip into his hands without even knowing. Always do what you need to in order to be protected spiritually.
