Taytay Zone- Philippines: Week 15, Crash Out

It's summer now in the Philippines which makes it feel like a sauna everywhere you go. But we are still out here swinging in the final rounds.

Word of the week: pastilan
It's just a word to say when you're frustrated/disappointed.

ESPN Highlight Reel:

Had exchanges with the AP, he's a goof but it was fun being in a trio. Had a powerful lesson with an inactive member and she was able to come to church again this week!!

We went mountain biking!! Bikes got banned for our mission because there have been lots of accidents, but we got permission to go riding with one of our friends who's kinda a bible basher but he's coming around and has been to church 4 times in a row! Pray for Ramil.

Sister Shiela and her daughter Marisel got baptized! They're studdssss. It almost didn't happen because they had a vacation, but they had great faith, moved some things around and got in the water.

We had a district water fight this pday which got pretty crazy. We just filled up giant 5 gallon things of water and started dunking each other. W pday.

Then I got chopped by the barber. I swear haircuts here have an 80% chance that you're gonna get cooked. No pic for this one.

Spiritual thought:

Moroni 4:3

The sacrament prayers are so specific, and give such great promises to us. I remember back in the day my older sister Rachel would have them memorized and recite them along as they were being read. I've recently been doing that to really understand and think about all the words and covenants.

As we take the sacrament (which is the most important thing we do each week), we can have the Spirit of God as our constant companion! So I invite everyone to partake of the sacrament this week and really appreciate the promises from our Heavenly Father, and the gift, His Son, Jesus Christ.
