Taguig Area- Philippines: Week 19- The Color Violet

 Hey hey hey

Chill week, pretty long one but a good one

Word of the week: pagod (exhausted)

We taught 40+ lessons this week which was insane and talked to just about everyone in our path

It rained a lot this week and we got soaked. I swear in the morning its clear skies then right as we walk outside its pouring but its chill, i mess with the rain

ESPN TOP 10 HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

10 Elder freeman broke one of our plastic chairs cause he was leaning back on it too much bro is not real

9 Last P-day we went back to the massage chairs and did the 30 minute massage which I think was too long. It got lowkey painful after like 20 but still fire. I high key just like the feet rollers. 

8 Did some exchanges with Elder Tejada this week. He's great. Cooked up 12 lessons and got some good things done in their area. We did get absolutely drenched though and some old lady yelled at us but other than that, good day!

7 Jollibee breakfast is so fire, their pancake sandwich oh my that thing is a must have. But pretty steep in price. We hit it up twice this week before and after exchanges though just to build us some hype.

6 We got a text from a bishopric member saying that he wanted to go visit a member who is really sick. He didn't give us a time and wasn't responding and for some reason we were prompted to go right away. When we arrived we heard that he already passed and bishop came earlier that morning to give him a blessing. But it turns out our timing was perfect to be able to help the family and the ambulance get his body down their narrow flight of stairs. So they assigned me to carry the head.... pretty wild experience carrying a corpse down a flight of stairs and holding the head. But brother Lubigan is now resting in paradise

5  Saw some McDonald's workers standing outside handing out flyers for their new location opening near us YESSIR!! So obvi we took a flyer and I didn't even realize the girl wrote her number on it so hopefully she gives me free fries when I go or something. Lmk if I should call it jk

4 Got to watch "chasing history" NBA finals documentary while waiting for our food to be made at a restaurant. Bro SGA puts it on most dripped MVP. Crazy series

3 Speaking of the finals, that was in my council this week for DCM But it tied in so dw. About consistency in finding, we need to be like SGA dropping 30 ppg. You had to be there. Just tryna inspire the district

2 Nanay Bote had her birthday last night!! Legit my favorite Filipino person ever. We bought her a cake and a leather bag She cooked up some spaghetti and beef stew type stuff. It was legit just us and like all old RS ladies. But we had fun regardless gossiping it up with them

1 Sister Marisa got baptized this Sunday!! It was a really early baptism at 10am and not a lot of members were able to make it because we had ward conference, but it was still sweet. She bore her testimony about how she was taught by JW for 2 years, but never felt right to be baptized. However when we met them, she knew it was the right place for her. And within 6 weeks she made the decision to be baptized She the goat fr.
