We are back
Word of the week: panis (stale)- Also used to taunt someone if you proved them wrong or something
ESPN TOP 10 HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:
10. I think I dropped my food like 3 times this week.
Idk what happened to me, legit I just spilled too many times this week so my patience was at 0.
9. We became a trio for a day.

Took one missionary with us as his companion went to the MTC to get a shot in preparation to go to his true mission in west Africa!
Lucky guy. Lots of exchanges this week
8. We got SOAKED the other day, in the morning it's burning hot and then in the afternoon it's pouring rain. The weather here is super bipolar.

7. Me and Elder Leonoras started laughing
mid lesson with this nanay. Like crying laughing idek why,
it was crazy. He started first and I was just so surprised so I laughed too. It was a funny lesson ig.
6. Had exchanges this week with Elder O'Bryant from my batch. He's one of the DLs in the zone so it was fun to be with him, bit of a yapper
, but he's great, got some good work in, extended another BGD to kuya Yushin! Brother of the kids we just baptized last week. He accepted!
5. Went to this nanay's house and she started talking about self defense and was showing us all kinds of different moves.
She was getting crazy with it, hidden knife on the leg type stuff.
4. This week we had interviews with President. It was kind of rushed because he knew we still had ZLC after that and I was the last interview
. But he just showed me the transfer board and it was more like planning than an interview
. It was really cool though I can't lie. He's really great, trying to help the office elders get out more and work which is really great. I'm staying in Antipolo so I'm excited.
3. Our zone has the mission office in it so we went down to the trainers & trainee meeting and just ate with them for free
even though we had no reason to be there. So got to see some of the OGs that are training rn.
2. We toured a house that we are planning on moving into. Our house is already nice but we're upgrading!!!
Because our area is getting split so the house needs to fit 4. So we toured this new house which has 2 king size beds, a tv, nice couches, dining room table, its got it all. So that's where we are gonna move in a couple weeks.
1. We extended a BGD this week to a nanay who went to church last week for the first time. We went into the lesson not knowing what to teach, but we thought about baptism.
We weren't even sure if we were gonna extend, but we did it anyway. She said she would be baptized! So we thought of a date and were prompted for Sept. 21, she teared up
and told us that's her birthday. Then she said she was thinking just earlier as we were teaching that she would be ready on her birthday to be baptized. Her late father was a member and was always inviting her, and she said she knows he still is inviting her on the other side.
Really awesome experience and we're super excited for sister Marjorie!!
Espiritual na isip:
•Alma 5:14
14) And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?
Alma here is giving a really great talk about true conversion. That it doesn't just mean that we go to church and pray always, but there is a noticeable change in our lifestyle, in our habits, in our priorities, etc.
This is the type of change that is required for true conversion. And by consistently doing the small and simple things like church, prayer, and scripture study, then we can be led to this mighty change of heart and receive His image in our countenances. So much that others will take notice and begin to wonder and desire it for themselves.
